Digital Photobook Workshop / Quick Album Winners!

Later this week my new workshop Love Is (a Digital Photobook Project) starts at Big Picture Classes.  A huge congratulations to the two gals that won a spot in the workshop:

I sat down tonight and started working on my mother’s day gifts for my mom and mother-in-law.  This year I’m using my Love Is quick album to create their gifts.  I’ll share a little more about the project on Wednesday.  For now though, I’ll show you just a one of the photo pages from the album.  My daughter just had a photoshoot with the super talented Skye Johansen and I’m using photos from that session in my album.  (I know she’s an amazing children’s photographer huh!!)

Focus: A Look at My Photobook + a Winner!

Here’s a look at my Focus photobook.

It’s a 10×10 photobook ordered from American Color Imaging.  The “sweet thing” title is from a kit called Little Sprout by One Little Bird (available at Oscraps).  These photos are from Ashleigh’s photoshoot (taken by my friend Melanie) when she turned one.

One thing I really love about the books from ACI is that they have an option to add UV coating to the pages.  It adds a slick glossy finish to the page.  It makes my pages feel a little thicker and look more like a photograph.

Introducing FOCUS: a template album

I am so pleased to introduce FOCUS, my newest template album.

Focus follows my simple/clean approach to album design.  I used this album to create a photobook showing off all the pictures taken during Ashleigh’s photoshoot at 1 year.  I didn’t add any extra papers, just the photos and a tiny bit of journaling.

and here is my title page

The title reads “you fill our hearts with love and bring meaning to our lives”.  I added bits of journaling that captured the feelings we had back then, being new parents.  I ordered my photobook through American Color Imaging and am anxiously awaiting it’s arrival.

FOCUS: coming soon + Giveaway

I’ve been working on a new template album – FOCUS coming to oscraps Monday August 29th.  I’m hoping my photobook arrives before then so I can share my album with you.  Here’s a quick view of the album pages.  Simple, clean with a little style added to the border and divider.  Several templates include text paths for journaling.
